At 6:30am, the Oreland, Wyndmoor Fire Department, and Flourtown Fire Company Fire Companies responded to a reported house fire in the 800 block of Church Road

Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the one-story dwelling.

Firefighters forced entry into the house and were able to quickly extinguish the fire located in the bedroom. There were no injuries to the homeowner or first responders.

We would also like to thank the Community Ambulance Association, Ambler, Springfield Township Police Department, and Weldon Fire Company for their assistance.
